We invite you to the II. Congress, which will be hosted by İnönü University Faculty of Nursing between 9-12 October 2024 and in cooperation with Turgut Özal Medical Center Nursing Services Directorate and Palliative Care Nurses Association. We are very honored and happy to invite you to the International Palliative Care in Nursing Congress.

Palliative care is a specialized form of care applied for the purposes of reducing the difficulties faced by patients and their families, disease-related complications and symptoms, improving the quality of life and minimizing stress. Palliative care is provided by a team consisting of nurses, physicians and other health professionals. As an indispensable part of the palliative care team, nurses play a critical role in meeting the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of patients and their families. The need for palliative care in the world and in our country is increasing day by day. Our congress aims to make new and important contributions to scientific knowledge in the field of palliative care. The main purpose of this congress is to create a platform that addresses current developments in palliative care and the leading role of nurses. During the congress, local and foreign speakers who are experts in their fields will discuss different aspects of palliative care and share their knowledge and experiences with the participants.

Our congress offers an ideal environment for all healthcare professionals who want to improve their knowledge and skills in palliative care. It will especially contribute to nurses further strengthening their leadership roles in the palliative care team. In this context, we invite all health professionals in the palliative care team, especially nurses, and all scientists working in this field or who want to follow current developments, to participate in our congress.
